About the Role
The Per-Diem Quality Assurance Technician plays a key role in ensuring the quality and consistency of services delivered by KlutterBox Cleaning Services. This position involves both the hands-on execution of housekeeping and janitorial services, as well as the assessment and enforcement of quality standards at client properties. Technicians are responsible for verifying compliance with KlutterBox’s cleaning protocols, OSHA and EPA regulations, and safety procedures.
In addition to quality control responsibilities, technicians have the opportunity to earn increased compensation by referring new clients for repeat services and by recommending value-added services to existing clients. Depending on the nature of the referral, service type, or contract value, technicians may earn commission bonuses ranging from 5% to 20%.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
Service Execution
Perform comprehensive housekeeping and janitorial services at client sites in accordance with KlutterBox standards.
Ensure all cleaning procedures are executed using EPA-certified products and aligned with health and safety requirements.
Follow infection control procedures and prevent cross-contamination through proper sanitation techniques.
Quality Assurance & Inspections
Conduct on-site inspections to evaluate the thoroughness, effectiveness, and compliance of cleaning activities.
Identify service deficiencies and work with teams to recommend or implement corrective measures.
Document inspection results using approved reporting tools and submit timely reports to the Quality Assurance Manager.
Client & Staff Communication
Serve as a professional liaison between KlutterBox and the client, addressing concerns and ensuring satisfaction.
Provide constructive feedback to frontline cleaning staff and encourage adherence to best practices.
Represent KlutterBox’s brand values and professionalism during every site visit.
Incentives & Commission Opportunities
Earn additional compensation by referring new clients who book ongoing services with KlutterBox.
Recommend add-on or specialty services (e.g., carpet cleaning, disinfection, post-construction cleaning) to existing clients.
Receive a commission of 5% to 20% based on the value of the service, duration of contract, or type of add-on secured.
Compliance & Safety
Monitor PPE usage, proper chemical handling, and adherence to OSHA, EPA, and company-specific safety standards.
Immediately report incidents, hazards, or compliance breaches to the appropriate personnel.
Support emergency response and health safety protocols as needed.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required; certification in custodial maintenance, OSHA safety, or environmental services preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in janitorial, housekeeping, or quality assurance roles.
In-depth understanding of cleaning standards, safety practices, and EPA-registered cleaning products.
Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and time management skills.
Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 30 lbs, standing for long periods, and working in various facility types.
Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license required.
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, or holidays based on client demand.
Work Conditions
Per-Diem Schedule: Assigned based on availability, operational needs, and technician performance.
May require travel to multiple client locations within the assigned region.
PPE, uniform shirt, and approved tools/products are provided.
Technician Required to Wear Black Non-Slip Shoes along with Black or Dark Grey Work-Gear Pants
